CYRENE at DataWeek 2022
On the 3rd of June 2022, CYRENE was invited by the DataPorts project to the workshop they organised in the context of the DataWeek 2022 event. The workshop was titled “Joining research forces and create the future of ports and maritime-based on data-driven services: Defining the Strategy”.
CYRENE, represented by its consortium member ZELUS, was presented as one of the research activities in the field, especially in what has to do with enhancing trust among the partners in a supply chain and with their customers through the creation of a more structured, standardized, and trusted way to forecast, prevent and manage interrelated and propagated cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats that take into account the heterogeneity and complexity of various Supply Chain Services.
A demo of the initial step (Security Declaration Agreement among partners) of our solution was also presented to the audience. A panel discussion with the rest of the workshop participants followed exploring the challenges and the opportunities in data-driven supply chain services.
DataWeek is a highly regarded conference among the EU research community and CYRENE’s activities were disseminated to a wide audience of more than 90 participants who signed up for the session. Moreover, in the context of project collaborations, CYRENE is further collaborating with all the workshop participants (DataPorts, Vessel-AI, ASSIST-IoT) in exchanging research insights and improving our approach to developing the CYRENE solution.
