CYRENE Partner Privanova discussing Cybersecurity at the UN
CYRENE consortium member, Privanova was among the presenters at the First intersessional consultation of the Ad Hoc Committee established by the UN General Assembly to elaborate a comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes.
Organised by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna on 24 and 25 March 2022, this international event involved 193 UN Member States and observing organizations including the European Commission.
Represented by Mr. Farhan Sahito, Privanova took part in a panel discussion on Procedural Measures and Law Enforcement alongside INTERPOL, Microsoft Corporation, and Asociația eLiberare.
As part of his presentation, Mr. Sahito highlighted Privanova’s role as a partner in numerous EU-funded innovation projects, including CYRENE, that aim to reinforce cybersecurity measures and fight cybercriminals.
